TIME ZERO: The Last Year of Polaroid Film

Time Zero is a documentary film chronicling the life, death and resurrection of Polaroid’s beloved instant film. Directed by Polaroid photographer Grant Hamilton, Time Zero covers the day Polaroid announced it would cease production of instant film, reactions for heartbroken photographers and the inspiring story of those who simply couldn’t live without it - and had to bring it back.

Although I have never been a huge Polaroid person, I was personally touched by the story of the Impossible Project and the amazing feat of bringing back film from the dead. It gives me hope for the film world in general.

For the moment, those who live in major cities may be able to catch a screening of Time Zero, as the site does not list an official release date. For more info, check out TimeZeroMovie.com.
