The Chili Saga.... contd...
I’m at a nice break point in my retouching so cooking up a massive chili for tonight. I’ve got some nice slow-cooking steak (a cheap cut, but not mince) Am adding corriander seeds and cardomon pods, as well as decent a amount of chorizo. Peppers, Mushrooms, Onions, garlic, ginger, cumin, chilis, pepper etc.
I’m also going to put in a mug of coffee as all my brisket BBQ sauce...

Photoshop before there WAS photoshop
Ansel Adams said the negative is the equivalent of a composers score & the print is the conductors performance.
He would often darken the sky to add drama.
Dodging and Burning away in the darkroom
This was in the 1930’s people.
This is why photoshopping if done well is an art form.
1/2 his creative process occurred in the dark room.
This documentary is amazing.
